Morning update - Sunny spells developing today and again tomorrow but fog risk later and into tomorrow.

TODAY
A fairly nice day across the island once the morning cloud (with the odd spot of drizzle) breaks up to bring a mixture of sunny spells and just occasional areas of cloud. Towards central and western parts of the island we will see some slightly deeper areas of cloud developing this afternoon and this could lead to one or two extremely isolated showers, although the majority of places will remain dry throughout. Also towards western and southern coasts (perhaps even eastern coasts for a time) this afternoon we are likely to see coastal mist patches developing, thickening and spreading across many parts through the evening and first half of the night. Temperature 14-16°C but closer to 10-11°C around windward coasts Wind northeast 2-5mph becoming southeast 5-11mph then turning west-southwest towards evening
TONIGHT
Mist and fog is likely to spread across many parts through the night, some of which will be locally very dense. Temperature 5-7°C Wind west-southwest 1-4mph but becoming variable inland
TOMORROW
A foggy start followed by some pleasantly sunny conditions by mid morning across most areas, although the mist may hang on around some western and southern coasts at times, perhaps lifting more into low cloud here. Temperature 13-15°C but closer to 9°C around windward coasts and under any fog
Wind west-southwest 3-8mph becoming 10-18mph later
