TODAY
A mild, wet and windy start to the day with spells of heavy rain, but becoming somewhat lighter and more patchy into the afternoon. Low cloud and hill fog in the south and west. Temperature 11-12°C Wind southwest 25-45mph
Rainfall 8-12mm (32.8mm fallen since midnight at our Lake station)
TONIGHT
Cloudy with further spells of showery rain at times, occasionally heavy in places. Towards dawn we are likely to see a spell of heavier, more persistent rain moving through. Temperature 11-12°C but a dramatic temperature drop around dawn to 4-6°C Wind south-southwest 26-48mph becoming west-northwest 20-34mph by dawn Rainfall 3-5mm
TOMORROW
Cloud and rain to start the day, but the rain will ease and the cloud will break somewhat with a handful of brighter spells possible. During the afternoon we may well see the odd wintry shower of rain, sleet or hail moving in from the west. Feeling much colder. Temperature 5-7°C Wind west-northwest 21-35mph
