A generally cloudy day with only a handful of brighter spells along with the odd showery patch of rain here and there. By late afternoon we will see a band of heavy, showery rain moving in from the southwest, perhaps locally thundery. Temperature 15-17°C Wind southeast 15-24mph becoming south-southwest by late afternoon Rainfall 1-5mm, perhaps locally as high as 8-10mm
TONIGHT
Showery and locally heavy rain at first but this will clear for a time before further heavy and locally thundery showers move in off the channel. Temperature 14-15°C Wind southwest 18-34mph becoming 14-26mph by dawn Rainfall 2-10mm with locally variable amounts
TOMORROW
Showers at first, locally heavy and thundery with the risk of hail, easing for a time before further heavy, perhaps thundery showers move in later. Temperature 16-17°C Wind southwest 12-23mph becoming southeast by the end of the day Rainfall 2-15mm with highly localised variations
