Morning update - Good sunny spells today, becoming very wet and extremely mild overnight, cloud then brighter tomorrow + Weather Warning
TODAY
A generally fine day with sunny spells and broken cloud. Later on in the afternoon the cloud will begin to increase from the southwest. Temperature 10-11°C Wind west 8-16mph becoming variable 0-3mph later
TONIGHT
After a fine, dry start the cloud will thicken and we will see a few showers, followed by more persistent rain, turning heavy and locally torrential at times, easing later in the night and becoming showery once again. A chilly start but turning very mild. Temperature 5-6°C at first but rising after midnight as high as 13-14°C
Wind southeast or east-southeast 3-6mph becoming 12-19mph then turning west-southwest 19-36mph during the early hours then slowly turning into the northwest by dawn
Rainfall 15-20mm but locally as high as 40mm
TOMORROW
A cloudy start, perhaps with some patches of rain and drizzle locally. As the day goes on it will gradually brighten up with some weak, hazy sunshine gradually breaking through the layer of cloud. Temperature 12-14°C at first, falling to 5-6°C during the afternoon
