A clear but cold night with a widespread frost leading to icy patches, especially in rural parts. Temperature 0°C to -2°C with the odd spot falling as low as -3°C although closer to 3-4°C around windward coasts Wind north-northwest 6-10mph

A cold, crisp day with unbroken sunshine throughout. Temperature 3-4°C Wind north-northwest 5-9mph
