A generally bright day with sunny spells and occasional areas of cloud moving through, some of which are likely to be thick enough to produce a few showers by later morning/early afternoon, maybe even a little hail mixed in too before fading away again later. Temperature 6-7°C Wind west-northwest 15-28mph becoming 17-32mph before dropping back to 12-22mph by the evening
Rainfall 0-2mm with localised rainfall possible
TONIGHT
A dry, chilly night with long clear spells and a slight ground frost in places. The cloud will increase a little as we move towards dawn. Temperature 3-5°C in general but as low as 1-2°C in some sheltered central and eastern areas
Wind west-northwest 12-23mph becoming west 8-14mph by dawn although closer to 2-6mph inland
TOMORROW
After a bright start the cloud will increase as we see some showery outbreaks of rain moving in from the west, some of which are likely to be heavy from mid afternoon onward. Temperature 10-11°C Wind west-southwest 6-11mph becoming 17 32mph by mid afternoon
