July 13th, Morning update

Today Sunny spells and patchy cloud at first but cloud will soon bubble up as some very localised showers develop, potentially heavy although many places remaining dry. As we move through the afternoon the shower risk moves off to the north with the bulk of the island becoming dry with good sunny spells.

Temperature 17-19°C but as high as 20°C in a few northern and eastern spots

Wind north-northeast 4-8mph with onshore sea breezes developing for a time before southwest winds slowly spread across the island from the west during the afternoon

Rainfall 0-3mm with localised rainfall possible

Tonight A mostly clear night with mist and fog patches developing in some low lying rural parts.

Temperature 10-12°C but as low as 8°C in a few low lying rural spots

Wind west 5-11mph becoming variable 0-5mph away from the west and south

Tomorrow A fine start with good sunny spells although some high, thin cloud may make the sunshine hazy at times. Some patchy cloud is likely to develop towards central, northern and eastern parts during the afternoon too.

Temperature 18-20°C

Wind southwest 3-7mph becoming 9-16mph during the afternoon
