Sunny spells with the odd shower, chilly tonight

This afternoon will continue bright with some good sunny spells but also the risk of the odd shower which may have hail or sleet mixed in although most places should remain dry.

Tonight will be mostly clear although there is the chance of the odd rogue shower making its way through which could be of sleet. Min temperature 4'c to 5'c in the far south and west, 2'c to 4'c across most other areas although a few localised rural spots in the south and east may fall to around 0'c with the risk of a few icy patches due to field runoff and residual water from recent rainfall.

Wind WNW 22-30mph on the north and west coast but 18-25mph in most other areas Rainfall up to 0.5mm Tomorrow will be quite a sunny day with the risk of just the odd shower.
